Ahhh, entrepreneurship. Walking the line between opportunity and uncertainty. An idea sparks, a door opens and boom – you’ve stepped into a wide-open field of creation, decision making, successes and failures.
In 2016, Vant Marketing was born from an individual’s idea to ignite the digital landscape. Vant steadily grew from a thought to a booming reality. Of course, it wasn’t all butterflies and rainbows along the way. The tenacity required to run a startup has been an enlightening, albeit challenging, experience. Because startups often begin with a small team, there are fewer resources to get things done the way a corporation can. You have to pay the bills, sweep the floors and everything in between while simultaneously trying to grow an organization to meet the needs of customer demands. It’s quite the balance. From a time-management perspective, it can be tough. But, in our opinion, startup life is full of excitement. The good outweighs the bad. There is more freedom in the choices we make – some successful, some not. Startup life is seizing every failure and win as a learning opportunity that helps define what we do…and what we don’t. We’ve learned what our weaknesses are and what are strengths are and delegated accordingly. Our team now includes talented individuals to fit the roles that we understood we were lacking or could improve on. In just three years, Vant has created a thriving company through perseverance and the proof is in the pudding.
“I’m convinced that about half of what separates successful entrepreneurs from the nonsuccessful ones is pure perseverance.”
– Steve Jobs
